Will the monthly program cost increase?

The monthly program cost will increase if higher doses are prescribed by your practitioner, as follows: 

  • 0.25mg, 0.5mg or 1.0mg Wegovy – $345 every 4 weeks
  • 1.7mg – program cost increases to $455 every 4 weeks 
  • 2.4mg – program cost increases to $525 every 4 weeks. 
What if the practitioner does not issue me with a script?
The vast majority of customers with an “eligible” quiz result are issued with a script after consulting with a practitioner.

In the unlikely scenario that the practitioner decides you are not, in fact, eligible you pay just just $40 for the consultation and the balance ($305) will be refunded.

What is my maintenance dose?
The manufacturer (Novo Nordisk) suggest the maintenance dosage of Wegovy in adults is either 1.7mg or 2.4mg. However, treatment response and tolerability vary and your practitioner will determine the maintenance dosage that is right for you.
Will I receive brand Wegovy?
Yes. Chemist2U only supplies brand Wegovy.
What if my dosage increases?
If suitable, your practitioner will increase your dosage over time until you reach your maintenance dose.  CU Health will send your new prescription (with the higher dose) to Chemist2U and we will deliver the higher dose medication to you and continue to do so according to any repeats of your prescription.

It is important to note, the program fee will increase with the following increases in dosage:

  • 0.25mg, 0.5mg or 1.0mg Wegovy – $345 every 4 weeks
  • 1.7mg – program cost increases to $455 every 4 weeks
  • 2.4mg – program cost increases to $525 every 4 weeks.
How is my Wegovy shipped?
Your Wegovy will be shipped following the manufacturer’s guidelines, which allow Wegovy to be stored between 8°C and 30°C for up to 28 days.

To ensure this temperature range is maintained, we ship your medication in an insulated box with a cold pack inside (subject to ambient temperatures). That way, you have the peace of mind of knowing your Wegovy has arrived in perfect condition.

How long will it be until my Wegovy arrives?
Once Chemist2U receives your script, you can expect your Wegovy to be delivered within 5 business days.
What is included with my Wegovy order?
Your Wegovy will be as supplied by the manufacturer. Your order will include the Wegovy pen and small tip needles you will need for the weekly injections.
What do I do if there is a problem with my medication delivery?

It’s past the delivery time - where’s my order?

What can I expect from my consultation with the dietitian?
The dietitian will discuss your diet plan and its essential role in your weight loss program.
What if I want to speak to a practitioner outside of a scheduled consultation?
You can book additional consultations with CU Health whenever you choose. The additional cost of such consultations will be confirmed at booking.

CU Health is our telehealth partner. They are a leading telehealth medical practice who will help you achieve sustainable weight loss through their outcomes-based approach.

Their team of experts, including Nurse and General Practitioners, Psychologists, and Dietitians, work together to provide personalised care tailored to your unique needs. It is a holistic and compassionate approach, with support at every step of your weight loss journey.

What happens after month 1?
Your second consultation with your practitioner occurs in weeks 2 to 6. So, if you did not have it in Month 1, you will have your second consultation in Month 2.

In your second consultation, you will discuss your program progress, review treatment plan and set treatment goals until the next consultation.

How do I update my payment information?
To update your payment card details, contact our customer service team via web chat (bottom right of your screen).
How do I cancel my program?
You can cancel your program at any time with 30 days notice. To do so, use the web chat (bottom right of your screen).
Can I stop when I want?
You can cancel your program at any time with 30 days notice.
Is this program available nationally?
Yes. Chemist2U delivers Australia-wide.
Why do I need a Medicare card for this program?

Consultations are bulk-billed via Medicare, which is one of the reasons this program is priced so competitively.
